Uniting Communities, Inspiring Change: The Inspiring Campaign of Dr. Umar Al-Qadri
Dr.Umar Al-Qadri is well known as a prominent advocate of inclusivity and integration in Ireland. He is Chairperson of the Irish Muslim Peace & Integration Council which is directed at promoting harmony, humane immigration policies and cultural understanding. After two decades in Ireland, Dr. Umar has become a voice for fairness and equity as an immigrant leader in Ireland’s political and social standing, breaking barriers.
The Challenge
Dr. Umar Al-Qadri took on a momentous journey when he became the first immigrant to contest the MEP Election for the EU and Dublin West General Election in 2024. He faced the challenge of building his candidacy in a crowded political arena boosting his vision to be inclusive and integrated.

For a first time candidate, it was vital to introduce Dr. Umar’s leadership and vision to a large viewing public. To inform voters who have not heard about him, his platform of inclusivity had to be communicated clearly.

1. Creative Branding
- With pole posters, banners and bus shelter ads, we created visually appealing campaign materials to support a coherent, effective brand image depicting the core manifesto of Dr. Umar.
2. Digital Strategy
- To take his digital approach a step further, we created engaging social media and videos as well as animations to add to his online presence and connect with voters, in a modern, interactive way.
3. Targeted Messaging
- As an immigrant, championing inclusivity, we highlighted the unique perspective of Dr. Umar’s powerful campaign manifestos. A5 leaflets and A3 posters were designed to convey his message effectively and to leave a lasting impression on voters.
4. Enhanced Visibility
- For maximum exposure, we put up pole posters, put them in bus shelter displays, had screen videos going all around Dublin to make sure Dr Umar’s campaign was seen wide and broad.
5. Stationery and Goodies
- Branded items like pens, notepads, and visiting cards were created to personalize voter interactions and boost campaign recall, reinforcing his brand identity.
6. Website Design
- We designed and revamped Dr. Umar’s official website serves as a unified platform for voters to read his manifesto, learn about his campaign, and find ways to engage.
The Impact
Dr Umar Al-Qadri’s campaign has become a landmark feature of Irish political history. His commitment and a strategic marketing message of inclusivity was enough to give him a commendable 13th place finish in his MEP election journey as a religious immigrant.
Professionally designed materials, catchy visuals, and high engagement on social media generated the campaign in a way that created widespread community support around him, and further cemented him as a credible, inspiring leader.
With this momentum, Dr. Umar continued his efforts in the 2024 General Elections in Dublin West and expanded his vision for inclusive leadership. The marketing campaign from our end has remained strategic with outreach, focusing on dynamic and compelling bus shelter ads, creative videos and captivating social media content adding to his presence.
